TEUTOPOLIS — Teutopolis played host to a junior high volleyball regional Tuesday evening.
The lower seeds ruled the night at the Class 3A Teutopolis Regional as fourth-seeded Paris Mayo defeated the No. 1 seed Teutopolis, 26-22, 25-20.
And, the No. 3 seeded Cumberland defeated the No. 2 seeded Jasper County. Jasper County won the opener 25-21 before Cumberland came back with 26-24, 25-23 scores for the win.
Jasper County was led by Ochs with two aces, Wagner with nine kills, H. Wolf with 10 assists and Ginder with 11 digs.
Cumberland and Paris Mayo meet for the regional championship Thursday at 6 p.m.

At St. Elmo
St. Elmo/Brownstown picked up a victory Tuesday evening at its own regional.
SEB was a 25-17, 25-15 winner over South Central in the second contest of the evening.
In the opener, Morrisonville won over Nokomis, 25-5, 25-11.
St. Elmo/Brownstown and Morrisonville will meet for the regional championship Thursday at 6 p.m.
At Grayville
Altamont Lutheran will be competing for the Class 7-1A Grayville Regional championship tonight.
Altamont Lutheran will meet West Salem at 6 p.m. with the winner advancing to the Sigel St. Michael Sectional Monday.
