Dieterich Village Board members are submitting two TIF incentive applications.

One is for Life Story Behavioral Health, a medical facility that could locate in the former Dieterich Clinic. Various therapies could be employed for those of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics.

The other is for Seed Life, a seed company locating in the former Wright’s Furniture warehouse along Illinois Route 33.

The Board also approved hiring American Geospatial for an archaeological assessment of the Dieterich Cemetery. The effort is aimed at identifying all of those buried in the cemetery including some who could be part of a “potter’s field”. The cost is $2,356.
