 Pacheco-Meza Sentenced to Prison for Role in Fatal Crash

A crash that resulted in the death of a Coles County Board member and his wife has resulted in a prison sentence for the driver of the other vehicle.

34-year-old Edwin Pacheco-Meza pled guilty to three counts of Aggravated DUI for his role in the crash in Clark County that resulted in the deaths of Michael and Gail Clayton of Charleston, along with injuries to two other occupants of a pickup truck in Westfield.

Pacheco-Meza got a 16-year prison term in one case and 10-year sentences in two other cases.
