Jasper County was a winner in both seventh- and eighth-grade volleyball matches Monday evening.
Jasper County won the seventh-grade contest over Olney, 25-21, 25-23 to improve into 13-4 on the season.
Wagner led in aces with three and blocks with two for the winners. Hartrich had three kills and six digs. Ginder led in assists with three.
In eighth-grade play, Jasper County improved to 13-5 on the season with 25-17, 25-14 win against Olney.
Ochs led in aces with three and kills with seven. Wolf has 12 assists. Jansen led in digs with six and Hall and Ochs had one block each.
Jasper County is back in action tonight against Hutsonville beginning at 4:30 p.m. It’s Eighth-Grade Night with the last home match.

At Cowden
South Central was a winner over Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City in both matches Monday evening.
South Central won the seventh-grade match, 25-7, 25-19.
Leading CHBC were Brooke Tucker with two kills, Elli Wheeler and Makynlie Prater with four digs, Wheeler with two aces and Kynzleigh Sarver with two assists.
In eighth-grade competition, South Central won 25-10, 25-14.
CHBC was led by Alyson Lawrence, Anna Hart, Reece Vaughn and Elaine Thompson with one kill each, Hadley Pope with two aces, Valentina Doty with two assists, Halee Goeckner with one block and Pope, Lawrence and Vaughn with three digs each.
At Cowden

St. Elmo/Brownstown came calling at Neoga and picked up both victories Monday evening.
St. Elmo/Brownstown was a winner in seventh-grade play, 25-13, 25-18.
In eighth-grade action, St. Elmo/Brownstown won 25-17, 25-15.
Neoga dropped to 0-2 in both seventh- and eighth-grade play.
At Teutopolis
Teutopolis played host to Sigel St. Michael and split victories Monday evening.
T-town was a winner in the seventh-grade match, 25-16, 25-12.
St. Michael won the eighth-grade contest, 25-17, 25-15.
At Flora
North Clay won both matches over Flora Floyd Henson Monday evening.
North Clay captured the seventh-grade match, 25-12, 25-19.
The homestanders also won the eighth-grade contest, 25-12, 25-17.
North Clay is back in action today at Stewardson-Strasburg beginning at 5:15 p.m.
At Altamont
Cumberland claimed the seventh-grade victory over Altamont, 25-14, 25-13 Monday.
Altamont was led by Adriana Starnes with one ace and one kill, Emerson Kuenstler, Madison Brockett, Roslyn Kalber and Blakely McClellan with one kill each. Kalber and McClellan with two assists each and Emerson Kuenstler and McClellan with three digs each.
Altamont returns to action against Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City today.
