Polar Plunge at Lake Sara Beach

10:00 AM to 11:45 AM: Plunger check-in & walk-up registration at the Lake Sara Pearson Building, 15250 N. Beach Rd., Effingham.
12:00 Noon: Polar Plunge kick-off, including costume judging.
1:00 PM: Post-Plunge Party with free meal for plungers at the American Legion, 200 W. Washington, Effingham. Polar Plungers will receive a free meal provided by the Rhodes Show Catering and refreshments provided by Heartland Coca-Cola. Family members and fans are also welcome and can purchase a meal for $6 for adults and $3 for children under age 12.
