Illinois State Senator Steve McClure addressed Effingham Noon Rotarians February 11.
McClure serves all or portions of 10 counties in his 54th Senate district.
The Springfield Republican discussed his campaign to collect Valentine’s cards for elderly residents of his district. He also discussed legislation he has sponsored, which he said has all been the result of constituent ideas.
McClure’s legislative aide, Matthew Kuhns, was also present for his appearance. Noon Rotary Club President Mike Kirchhoff served as weekly program chairman.
