Teutopolis school board members Monday reviewed communication plans related to the district’s facility improvements.
The plans include a press release for “A Clear View” facility improvement microsite, a postcard mailer, a communications timeline, and continuation of “Shared Pride and Purpose” articles. The district is working on an addition to the junior high school building and improvements to the elementary school building.
The Board established tentative end-of-year dates with high school graduation at 2:30pm on Sunday, May 17 and junior high promotion at 7pm on Thursday, May 21.
Several personnel matters were addressed including resignations from Melissa Habing as high school girls tennis assistant coach, Carla Deters as high school secretary, and Samantha Field as high school Student Council Co-President, all effective in May; the hiring of Melissa Habing as high school boys tennis coach for this school year; and reassignments of Michael Buening from grade school PE teacher to junior high Math teacher, and Samantha Field from grade school teacher to junior high Social Science teacher.
