Stacey L. Mays, age 48 of Olney, passed away on February 4, 2026, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, Indiana. Stacey was born on May28, 1977, in Olney, Illinois, the daughter of Farrell and Kathy (Martin) Hunt.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Antioch Christian Church in rural Olney, Illinois. Arrangements are under the care of Meyer Funeral Home in Olney. The obituary can be viewed, and condolences left at www.meyerfh.com.
Stacey had a strong Christian faith. Stacey had an unconditional love for her family, friends and her fur-babies. She also enjoyed taking the scenic route anywhere she went. She enjoyed cooking for her family and was known for her lasagna which was very much enjoyed by all. She was known for her shopping, camping and fishing trips memorable. Stacey was extremely gifted in decorating any home.

grandchildren; Bransyn, Lailyn, Teagyn, Karsyn, Bentley, Jaxson, Cooper; siblings; Ethan Hunt of Flora, Illinois, Katie (Damion) Von Gunten, of Olney, Illinois, Wendy Neighbors of Vincennes, Indiana; Aunts, Uncle, Nieces and Nephews and special friends; Sonny, Chelsey Jo and Debb.
Stacey was preceded in death by: father Farrell “Bud” Hunt, brother Waylon Hunt, uncle Don Martin and son-in-law Richard Reed.
