It has been several days since we received several inches of snow in the Effingham area.
Effingham Director of Public Works Jeremy Heuerman shared Thursday that, by Ordinance, it is the property owner’s responsibility to remove snow from sidewalks in front of their property. Heuerman said the City would appreciate the help of the community for the walking pedestrians. He said, “We’ve been getting a lot of complaints about this.”
