The plan is an All Hazards Mitigation Plan and the process to update it will be funded through a grant from the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
The County Hazard Mitigation Planning Committee will hold its first meeting today at 1pm. The meeting, which will be open to the public, will be held at the Effingham County Emergency Operations Center at 311 West Miracle Avenue in Effingham.
