Alton Athletic Director Chris Kusnerick announced his retirement.
According to RiverBender.com, after 38 years of dedicated service, Alton Athletic Director Chris Kusnerick will retire at the end of the school year, concluding a distinguished career in education and athletics.
Kusnerick served as the head coach for boys’ basketball at Effingham St. Anthony High School during the 2000-2001 season.
During his tenure, the team competed in Class A, according to Illinois High School Association (IHSA) records.
He was also present at the school for a 1,500th win celebration in January 2023.
