Brownstown school board members Tuesday accepted a letter of retirement from administrator Samuel Alli. He has been serving as junior/senior high school principal.
The Board also authorized Superintendent David Lund to prepare letters for the teachers union and the support staff union. The letters will notify the associations of the possibility of reductions in force for the 2026-2027 school year.
Board members also adopted the 2026-2027 school calendar; purchased educational technology devices through grant funding; and approved an engagement letter for audit services.
The Board approved junior/senior high school curriculum additions, and employed Jeremy Zerrusen as an extra curricular bus driver for the school year.
