One person was killed when a semi and another vehicle collided near Stewardson Tuesday morning.
The crash happened at 6:07am on Illinois Route 32, south of the Mode Road.
Illinois State Police said the driver of the passenger vehicle, 54-year-old Bradley Pygott of Effingham, was pronounced dead at the scene. Shelby County Coroner Beth Debolt said Pygott was the only person in the car. The driver of the semi was not injured.
Authorities are still investigating the crash.
