The Effingham County 911 Board re-elected its officers for another term Tuesday.
Returned to office were Chairman David Campbell, Vice-Chairman Paul Kuhns, and Secretary-Treasurer Jake Buhnerkempe.
Board members discussed the cost to re-program RapidWarn Response Tornado Siren software on the county console. The discussion concerned the need for coordination between the two radio vendors and the use of two-tone and four-tone systems.
Board members approved the purchase of a new net clock to keep track of both 911 systems. There was also reports on attendance by two city and two county telecommunicators at Active Shooter Training.
