The Effingham School Board recognized the Effingham Junior High School softball team for its third place finish at the Class 3A State Tournament in Normal during the season. The Mustangs finished with a 19-2 record. Members of the team are, front row, left to right, Amelia Hartke, Anna Gouchenhouer, Alivia Lauritzen, Mollie Niemerg, Sophia Wiedman and Tinley Patton.
