Dieterich, Cumberland and Stewardson-Strasburg were winners Monday evening in the National Trail Conference Eighth-Grade Boys Basketball Tournament.
Dieterich was a 42-0 winner over Windsor.
In the second contest, Cumberland downed Altamont 50-26.
The third game went to Stewardson-Strasburg over Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City 40-25.
Tonight’s games feature South Central against North Clay at 5:30, Neoga taking on St. Elmo/Brownstown at 6:45 and Effingham Sacred Heart vs. Sigel St. Michael at 8.
At Tower Hill
Pana Sacred Heart hosted Effingham in seventh-grade play Monday and was a 44-11 winner.
Sacred Heart led 22-4 at halftime. The winners were led by Trexler with 12 and N. Beyers with 10.
Effingham was led by Tristan Reed with four.
