Cathy Lynn Schmidt, age 60, of Newton, Illinois, passed away at 11:21 AM – Friday, December 12, 2025, at HSHS Saint Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham, Illinois.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM- Friday, December 19, 2025, at the Meyer Funeral Home in Newton, Illinois with Rick Britton officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Newton, Illinois.
