Newton Resident Sentenced to Prison for Child Endangerment

Newton resident Jacob Stanley has been sentenced to three years in prison on a charge of child endangerment.

Effingham City Police arrested the 25-year-old Stanley in January. Stanley was later transferred to Jasper County. He was given credit for six days time served while awaiting disposition of his case.
