Cumberland County Board members Tuesday discussed objections to the creation of two special service areas. Creation of the service areas would have established tax districts for ambulance service.
Enough objections were filed to prevent the creation of the service areas.
The Board did act on a resolution to submit an advisory referendum regarding a Federal Scholarship Tax Credit. The referendum will appear on the next election ballot.
Board members renewed a CD with Dieterich Bank for another 12 months, and approved the replacement of culverts in Spring Point Township, both engineering by Stone and Waggoner and the construction of the new culvert by Fetters Contracting.
