The Effingham City Plan Commission Tuesday approved a revised site plan for A-1 Liquors at 201 South 4th Street.
The revision involves vacating an alley, which will create additional parking spaces south of Fayette Avenue. The parking spaces are pending the demolition of the A-1 building south of Fayette.
The Plan Commission also recommended the City Council vacate a portion of an alley between 101 West Fayette and 305 South 4th Street, south of Fayette and west of 4th.
