(ROTARY WEEKLY PROGRAM CHAIRMAN BETH DEBOLT AND EFFINGHAM COUNTY FAIR BOARD PRESIDENT PHIL HARTKE)

Effingham Noon Rotarians received a county fair update at their December 3 meeting.

Fair Board President Phil Hartke shared information on the success of the fair. Hartke also shared plans to develop the former Fair Meadow Farm property east of the fairgrounds for use by those who might want to stay at the fairgrounds.

Beth Debolt served as Rotary weekly program chairman.

The Rotary student guest was Hollann Thoele, daughter of Lacey Holliday and Philip Thoele and a senior at Effingham High School. Hollann is a high honor student planning to attend Eastern Illinois University with a major in History. Her goal is to become a professor of Ancient History.
