Mabel Ann Harris, 89, of Teutopolis, IL, passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at HSHSSt. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham, IL, with her family by her side.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Teutopolis. Burial will be in Stewardson Cemetery in Stewardson.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon on Tuesday prior to the service at the church. Services are in the care of Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham. In lieu of flowers and gifts, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Teutopolis CCW. Online condolences may be shared at www.johnsonandsonsfh.com.

Mabel was born on July 18, 1936, in Effingham County, IL, the daughter of Aloysius and Elizabeth (Goeckner) Habing. Mabel was “Grandma Mabe” or “Mom” to many. She retired at Stevens after working there for many years. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Teutopolis. She was always helping others and often volunteered at church and for Meals on Wheels. Mabel loved piddling in the yard, playing bingo and enjoying a nice, cold Coors Light. Above all, she lived for her faith, church, family and grandkids.

Mabel is survived by her son, Charlie Kramer (Gloria); grandchildren, Ryan Kramer (Sara), Ashley Buehnerkemper (Jay), Misty Williamson (Bart), Mike Kramer (Gina); 10 great-grandchildren; 6
great-great grandchildren; siblings, John Habing, Raymond Habing, Marcella Antrim (Don), and Mardell Giesler; and sisters-in-law, Evelyn Habing and Jeannie Habing.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Mack Harris; son, Willy A. Kramer; brothers, Donald Habing, Delbert Habing, and Clarence Habing; brother-in-law, John Giesler; and sisters-in-law, Jane Habing and Judy Habing.
