The City of Effingham would like to congratulate Sandi Rich on being awarded Employee of the Quarter as a part of the City’s Employee Recognition Program. The Employee of the Quarter Award recognizes an employee who demonstrated either distinguished or extraordinary service during the fiscal quarter or other accomplishments that typically go unnoticed but are worthy of recognition.
City officials say Sandi is regarded as one of the most motivated and forward-thinking members of the City’s Police Department. She consistently works to improve processes within the department and across the City, bringing a collaborative spirit and a high level of professionalism to every project. Her peers value her reliability, creativity and commitment to excellence.
Throughout her time with the City, Sandi has taken on numerous complex projects, including serving a key role on the City’s Website Committee and helping launch the City’s new website. She also played a pivotal part in rewriting the Temporary Carnivals and Amusements ordinance and developing a streamlined, multi-department permitting process for non-profit fundraising events on City streets.
The City of Effingham appreciates your continued participation in the Employee Recognition Program. If you notice a City employee going above and beyond to serve you, please let them know by calling City Hall at 217-342-5300 or by emailing jkemper@effinghamil.com.
