Carl A. Niemerg, 72 of Effingham, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at Lakeland Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Effingham.
Per Carl’s wishes, his body was donated for scientific study at the SIU School of Medicine in Carbondale. No public services will be held at this time. Arrangements are in the care of Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham.
