The City of Altamont will be hosting a lighting contest. It will be held on Sunday, December 7th. Judging will be the evening of the 7th from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm.
The 1st place winner will receive 100% free electric bill month of December. The 2nd place winner will receive 50% off their electric bill month of December. The free electricity is donated by the City of Altamont. The 3rd place winner will be given $50. This prize is given by the Altamont Garden Club.
The eligible residents will live within the Altamont City limits and Town and Country Subdivision.
While driving around the City of Altamont enjoying the lights, please do not forget to drive through Schmidt Park and take in all the lights and displays. Let’s make this year’s contest the BEST yet.
