A vehicle ran into the Catholic Charities building Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred around 9:30am. Crews were able to remove the vehicle from the building. Effingham city police, Effingham firefighters and the Effingham Building Official all responded to the scene.
Damage is estimated at $60,000. No serious injuries were reported.
The office area of Catholic Charities is where the damage occurred. The damage will necessitate closing the building until some temporary repairs can be completed.
