Shirley Joan Frazier, 82 of Stewardson, Illinois passed away at 1:50 PM Friday November 21, 2025 in the Heartland Senior Living Center in Neoga, Illinois.

She was born March 23, 1943 in Mattoon, Illinois the daughter of Dale and Nellie (Blackburn) Helm.  Shirley married Phillip E. Frazier  April 5, 1960 in Mattoon, Illinois Mr. Frazier survives.  She worked as a Housewife and a Seamstress at Kern Manufacturing in Neoga, Illinois and she served on the Big Spring Twp. Cemetery board for over nineteen years.  Shirley enjoyed gardening, flowers, genealogy, Humming Birds playing Canasta, Country Music she helped the Battle Creek Band for over twelve years with set up, she especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Phillip E. Frazier, Sr.; children, Debbie (Mark) Witt of Mattoon, Illinois, Phillip Frazier, Jr. of Stewardson, Illinois and James (Jackie) Frazier of Lerna, Illinois; grandchildren, Ryan Witt, Corey Witt, Nellie Frazier, Fynlee Frazier, Aleah Frazier and Quincy Frazier; step grandchildren, Caitlin Huber, Lane Huber and Alex Huber; sister, Dorothy (Don) Ames of Lerna, Illinois; She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jim Helm and Tom Helm; stepfather, John Beals.

Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Shirley’s family would like to thank the Heartland Senior Living Staff,  the Sarah Bush Hospice and a special thank you to her nurse, Hallie Potter for their compassionate care of Shirley.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM noon Wednesday November 26, 2025 in the Swengel – O’Dell Funeral Home in Neoga, Illinois.  Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time Wednesday November 26, 2025 also in the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Janesville Cemetery in Janesville, Illinois.
