Altamont city council members Monday approved an amended Appropriations Ordinance.
The measure was increased by $156,650, bringing the total appropriation to $9,445,300.
Altamont City Clerk Sarah Stephen also announced the estimated fiscal year tax levy at $291,500, an increase of 4.63%.
The Council approved a payment to Milano and Grunloh Engineers for water main improvement construction engineering, and approved a payment to R&H Plumbing and Heating for demolition of a condemned mobile home at 404A North 3rd Street.
Also approved was the 2026 holiday schedule, and the schedule of Council meetings for the year.
