Teutopolis school board members approved a tentative fiscal year tax levy at this month’s meeting. A hearing on the levy was scheduled for the Board’s December meeting.
Superintendent Matt Sturgeon reported that additional stories could be expected in the coming weeks to share more on the school board’s goals and initiatives.
In personnel moves, the Teutopolis board accepted the irrevocable resignation of Sue Mills as seventh grade volleyball coach, although she will remain as a volunteer. Also accepted was the resignation of Salina Vahling as a junior high track coach.
The Board also hired Tiffanee Hartke as a high school softball assistant for 7-1/4 hours up from seven hours for each of the next two school years.
