Joe Phillips
Joe Phillips, an Effingham resident and a graduate of Effingham High School, is competing this weekend in Sedalia, Missouri for the National Finals of the National Federation of Professional Bullriders (NFPB).
Phillips is currently in first place.
The only other Illinois resident to win first was Craig Sasse from St. Peter in 2011.
