 Veterans Day Golf Outing Raises $3,050 For Memorial

On Sunday, the 19th Annual Chris Thies Sr. Veterans Day Golf Outing was held at the Cardinal Golf Course in Effingham.

It was perfect weather for the 42 golfers supporting the veterans. Raised for the Effingham County Veterans Memorial was $3,050 bringing the total raised to date to $37,000.

The winning team consisted of Jake Nelson, Pete Goeckner, Rick Huss and Mark Kensil.
