First National Bank of Waterloo has announced the appointment of Jeff Bloemker as Effingham Market President. A release from the bank indicates that in his new role, Jeff will help to realize the bank’s goals for the Central Illinois city known as “The Crossroads of Opportunity.”

A longtime Effingham resident and executive at numerous firms in the city’s private and public sectors, Jeff served as Effingham’s mayor from 2015 to 2019. He has also held leadership positions at several Midwest banks and board positions at more than a dozen local organizations.
