 Dieterich Meet the Movin’ Maroons Night November 14

Dieterich High School will have its annual “Meet the Movin’ Maroons” night Friday, November 14. The senior class will host a pork burger cookout from 4-6 p.m. in the high school lobby.

Pre-game music will be played starting at 5:45 p.m. The National Anthem will be played at 6 p.m. followed by the school song being performed by the cheerleaders and dance teams.

The High School cheer, dance, girls basketball and boys basketball teams will be introduced and will perform/scrimmage.

This will be a night for everyone to enjoy so please come out to support the Dieterich Movin’ Maroons.

4-6 p.m. — Pork burger cookout, proceeds to to the Senior Class of 2026

5:45 p.m. — Pre-Game Music

6 p.m. — National Anthem — Avery Bohnhoff

Admission to the Meet the Movin’ Maroons night is a donation to the “Bringing Christmas Cheer” program to help provide gifts for children in the Dieterich district.

Below is a list of requested items. There also will be the “Angel Tree” if anyone would like to get items for a specific child in the program.

3rd Annual “Bringing Christmas Cheer” Drive

Wrapping Paper, Tape, Name Tags, Gift Boxes, Stockings

Laundry Baskets (to hold meal items), Cereal, Granola Bars, Can of Green Beans or Corn, Family Size Instant Potatoes, Can of Gravy, Pasta Sides

Fillers (ages 4-18), Toothbrushes, Hair Ties, Hygiene items for small children, Lotion, Chapstick, Fingernail Polish, Candy, Small Toys

Gift Cards $5-$10 (Movie Theater, Bowling Alley, Old Macs, Subway, etc.)

Cash to help with supplies, meals, fillers, or names not taken from the tree.
