The Effingham County Board’s Economic Development Committee Tuesday voted to loan $28,000 to the developers of a restaurant to be located in Teutopolis.
Siegfried’s is to be located west across Pearl Street from the Teutopolis Banquet Hall. The developers are hoping to employ more than 20 employers, and are hoping to begin operating around the first of the year.
Meanwhile, committee members are working to collect back payment from the operators of Two Guys Pallets. Equipment and vehicles are in possession of the County and are to be sold to recoup what is owed the County.
