The Effingham Noon Rotary Club got to hear from their German exchange student Lenny Grossel at their meeting October 22.
Lenny lives in Leipzig and thinks he might follow his father in a career as an electrician. His sister has also been an exchange student. He is currently living with Noon Rotarian Bev Soltwedel and her husband Delbert.
Lenny is pictured (RIGHT) with Bev and with Rotary weekly student guest Max Buzzard. Max is the son of Rusty and Angie Buzzard and is a senior at Effingham High School. Max participates in football, basketball, track and FCA. He and his friends also love to play Monopoly. He plans to attend the University of Missouri to major in Physical Therapy.
