Two Newton residents collided on Center Street in Dieterich just after 5:30pm Thursday.
The Effingham County Sheriff’s Office reported that 35-year-old Lee Eastep and 27-year-old Whitni McHarry collided after one driver’s vision was obstructed.
McHarry was injured and was taken for treatment by Rural Med EMS to HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital.
There were no citations issued.
