Judith Marie Kuhlman, age 77, of Mason, Illinois passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at Edgewood Cemetery in Edgewood, Illinois. Pastor Mark White will be presiding. Judith was born on August 23, 1948, the daughter of John Florey and Cora Lawrence. She married John Kuhlman on September 26, 1971 in Beecher City, Illinois. She loved working outside, and enjoyed spending time gardening, sewing, or reading. She especially adored spending time with her grandson and great-granddaughters.
Judith is survived by her son, John Kuhlman (Kendra) of Mason, Illinois; grandson, JT Kuhlman (Stacy) of Mason; great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Kuhlman and Kinley Kuhlman; sister, Connie
Stewart, of Beecher City, Illinois; and sisters-in-law, Marge Florey of Cowden, Illinois; Lucille Florey of Beecher City, Illinois, and Barbara Florey of Shumway, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Kuhlman; parents, John and Cora Florey; brothers, Jerry Florey, Robert Florey, and Ronnie Florey; and sisters, Betty Rickets, Peggy Florey, and Joanne Walls; and brothers-in-law, Wilbur Ricketts, Terry Walls, and Leonard Stewart; and nephew, Greg Walls.
