Newton High School trailed Lawrenceville by a 7-6 opening quarter count but came back to lead 30-13 at halftime and went on for a 34-20 victory Friday in football action.
Hayden Mulvey completed 18 of 31 passes for 186 yards and a touchdown. Eli Wolf hit one of one for 51 yards and a touchdown.
Dexter Fulton had 11 pass receptions for 130 yards and one touchdown. Jacob Oldham had one reception for 49 yards and a touchdown.
Quincy Fulton had 15 carries for 80 yards and two touchdowns while Mulvey carried the ball two times for 29 yards.
Grayson Lingafelter finished with three solo tackles and five assists for eight while Carson Jones had two solo tackles and seven assists for nine. Maddox Horner had five solo tackles and two assists for seven. D. Fulton had two solo tackles and three assists for five.
