Dieterich resident Kevin J. Medford has been ordered held on multiple drug and firearm related charges.
The 49-year-old Medford was arrested Monday by the Effingham County Sheriff’s Office. Patrol deputies and detectives served search warrants where Medford resides and a nearby storage unit. Evidence of the sale and delivery of controlled substances was located along with several weapons and drugs.
Medford is being held in Effingham County Jail on counts of possession of 15 to 100 grams of methamphetamine, possession with intent to deliver the meth, possession of a weapon by a felon, and possession of a stolen firearm.
Medford was in court Wednesday, where he was ordered held pending his first appearance with counsel on October 23.
