Fred J. Uebinger, 80, of rural Ingraham, Illinois, passed away Sunday, October 5, 2025 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Champaign, IL, surrounded by family.
Fred was born August 19, 1945 in Clay County, IL, the son of Phillip and Mary (Seiler) Uebinger. He married Madonna DeVore on November 26, 1966, and she survives. As a young man, Fred worked with his dad and brothers on the family farm and sawmill. Fred then began his working career in the oilfield as a roughneck and later became a carpenter. He was also a member of the Ingraham Community Association and Holy Cross Parish Church Renovation. In his later years, he did carpentry projects for family and friends in the local area. Fred enjoyed helping on Kuenstler Farms and spending the rest of his time working on his property making improvements, gardening, cutting wood, and working on his Case Tractors. Above all else, family always came first for him. Fred was devoted to his wife, children, and grandchildren and rarely missed any of their events. He was the pillar of his family and will be greatly missed by those that knew and loved him most.
