Effingham St. Anthony handed Dieterich a high school volleyball loss in action Monday evening.
The Bulldogs won in two sets, 25-14, 25-16.
Cara Hatton led St. Anthony with 16 kills and eight digs. Madelyn Gilmore had 21 assists while Lilly Gannaway led in aces with two.
The Bulldogs are now 21-5 on the season and return to action today against Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg.
Dieterich was led by Lydia Fuesting with two aces and three assists, Allie Uthell with three kills, Aliza Garner with three assists, Bailey Brummer with two blocks and Mariah Muhs with four digs.
St. Anthony also claimed the junior varsity match, 25-18, 25-10.

Altamont handed Vandalia a loss in two sets Monday, 25-18, 28-26.
Riley Rippetoe led Altamont with nine assists and three aces. Hope Roedl led in digs with 16. Kimber Sphar had seven kills and Laila Hankins led in blocks with four.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City was a winner over Martinsville in two sets.
The Bobcats won 25-12, 25-21. Jalizah Bowlin led in kills with seven. Allison Shields and Timber Watson had two aces each. Gracie Wright led in assists with nine. Zoe Sarver and Shields had one block each. Sarver had six digs.
Martinsville was a winner in junior varsity action, 25-19, 25-19.
