TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — Effingham St. Anthony’s Isabella Keller was a winner once again.
Keller and teammates competed in the Nike Cross Country Twilight Meet at Laverne Gibson Course in Terre Haute Saturday.
Keller won the women’s Race of Champions with a time of 16:52.92.
Audrey Denning placed 19th out of 390 runners with a time of 18:03.30.
In the Open No. 1, Emaline Wines finished 61st while Leah Delrossi was 212th out of 330 runners.
The boys placed 16th as a team in the open races.
Julius Ramos finished 67th, Camden Bloemer 71st, Isaac Tays 88th, Oliver Kreke 94th and Elijah Whittier 164th out of 370 runners.
For Newton, Layna Marshall finished eighth in her race in the Open Blue 1 and when combined with the other Open Blue races was 26th out of 598 runners.
The Newton girls finished 19th out of 70 teams.
The Newton boys team finished 74th out of 86 teams.
North Clay’s Elizabeth Sparks finished the 5,000 meters Open Red with a time of 26:49.2.
For the boys in the Open Red, Cooper Givens finished in 22:20.1, Wyatt Pritchard in 22:38.5, Josiah Swope in 22:58.3 and Diego Martinez in 26:44.4.
