The Effingham County Airport Commission Wednesday discussed how to deal with trees on the north and south sides of an airport runway. The height of the trees are of concern to arriving and departing aircraft.
Commission members are trying to come up with a permanent solution to the situation.
Also of concern is a portion of a runway that has separated. That issue might be discussed at the annual Transportation Improvement Projects meeting in November.
