The Effingham Sunrise Rotary announced the theme for this year’s Halloween Parade, “Once Upon a Time” (favorite storybook or fairy tale – from classic tales to modern stories). The parade will take place on Sunday, October 26th, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
Parade participants are advised to assemble for the procession between 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. along Maple Street, positioned between Temple and Evergreen Avenues. A $20 entry fee will apply for all entries, excluding veterans, school groups, and emergency vehicles. All proceeds from the entry fees will benefit local non-profit organizations.
Those interested in taking part, whether as groups, organizations, businesses, or individuals, are requested to fill out the entry form. The completed forms can be returned to: Halloween Parade, Attn: Nathan Earnest, 501 E. Evergreen, Effingham, IL 62401. Or forms can be dropped off at the Effingham County Chamber, 903 N Keller Drive.
