St. Anthony remained undefeated in NTC regular season volleyball action as they picked up a 25-8, 25-22 over St. Elmo/Brownstown.
With the victory the Bulldogs are now 4-0 in the conference and 13-4 overall. The Eagles are now 8-6 on the season and 3-2 in NTC play.
St. Elmo/Brownstown won the JV matchup 25-23, 25-23.
Windsor/Stew-Stras also remains unbeaten in conference play after a 25-11, 25-8 win over Neoga. The Hatchets are now 6-0 in the NTC and 9-5 overall.
Windsor/Stew-Stras swept the night as they won the JV contest 25-12, 25-17 and the Fresh/Soph 25-13, 25-9.
In another NTC matchup it was Altamont with a straight set victory over Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City 25-18, 25-19. The Indians are 3-2, while CHBC is 2-3 in conference play.
Altamont also won the JV contest 25-13, 25-17. CHBC opened up the night with a win in the Fresh/Soph match 25-13, 25-19.
In an Apollo Conference contest Mahomet-Seymour can to Effingham and left with wins at every level, although each match went to three sets.
In the varsity match scores were Mahomet-Seymour 25-16, 22-25, 25-16. The Bulldogs won the JV contest 25-16, 21-25, 15-13 and the Fresh/Soph 23-25, 25-15, 15-9.
A milestone was reached by Effingham’s setter Berkley Pullen as she recorded 1000th career assist in the match for the Hearts.
In non-conference action Tuesday night Pana defeated Teutopolis 25-20, 26-24. The Wooden Shoes are now 13-4 on the season. The JV match went to T-Town 25-21, 20-25, 25-19. The freshman split with Pana as T-Town won the opener 26-24 but lost the second 17-25.
Another non-conference contest saw Robinson defeat Dieterich in varsity action 25-18, 25-22. Dieterich is now 5-14 on the season.
