 Altamont Takes Down St. Anthony in Soccer

St. Anthony remained undefeated in regular season NTC conference play as they defeated St. Elmo/Brownstown 25-8, 25-22. St. Anthony is now 4-0 in conference play and 13-4 overall. With the loss the Eagles are now 3-2 in the NTC and 8-6 on the season.

Altamont hosted St. Anthony and defended their home turf with a 3-0 victory Goals were scored by Ashton Buchanan and then Quincy Nierman as the rain was falling. Altamont was up 2-0 when the weather forced a delay for almost an hour. Cooper Pals was able to knock in a penalty kick as the wind and rain continued after the lighting delay.

Adam Wolff was in goal for the Indians and kept St. Anthony off the scoreboard with a clean sheet for the shutout.
