The girls Apollo conference tournament was contested at Taylorville’s Lakeshore Golf Course Monday.
Mahomet-Seymour was victorious with a 338. Effingham finished three strokes off the pace with a 341. Mt. Zion was third with a 406, and Charleston rounded out the field with a 448.
Medalist for the match was Brooke Hartman of Mahomet-Seymour with a 78.
Four Effingham golfers earned All-Conference honors. Ella Tuman 82, Natalie Armstrong 85, MaKenna Mayhood 86, and Addi Ruiz 88 all finished in the top ten. Other Effingham scores included Allison Kroenlein with a 90 and Kennedy Tolliver shot a 121.
St. Anthony hosted their Girls Golf Invitational and the host school finished first with a 159. Teutopolis was second with a 164. Olney was third with 192, followed by Tolono Unity with a 219.
Top five individuals were Brileigh Bloemer of Teutopolis with a 34, Adria Moberly with a 37, Giana Frisbie 38, Brooklyn Phillip 41 all from St. Anthony finished second through fourth. Teutopolis’ Brooke Tegler was fifth, shooting a 42.
