The Ann Crooker St. Clair Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution presented Effingham County a NexTrex bench awarded by the Conservation Committee because of the Chapter’s recycling efforts. Chapter members collected 1,000 pounds of plastic preventing it from ending up in area landfills.
The donated bench will be placed on the Effingham County Cultural Center and Museum Association grounds.
