South Central school board members approved the budget for the new school year at this month’s meeting.
The Board approved an updated bullying policy, and approved the purchase of a driver’s ed car. Field trips were approved for the FBLA and foreign language clubs.
Board members a letter of intent to retire from Lonnie Tipsword as a support staff employee as of August 31, 2026, approved Cameron Eischens as an assistant scholar bowl coach for the high school for the school year, and approved Aimee Moore as Beta Club co-sponsor for the middle school for the school year.
The Board also approved leaves of absence during October for Tracy Hulsey and Bethany Lowry.
