(LONGTIME EHS TEACHER, COACH AND SPONSOR CAROL BABBS SERVED AS HOMECOMING PARADE MARSHAL. HER CHAUFFEUR WAS HER DAUGHTER, MANDEE HIRTZEL)
It’ll be a busy Monday of Homecoming Week at Effingham High School.
The week began with the Homecoming Parade, with Carol Babbs as parade marshal. The day was capped by the Powder Puff game.
Today is PJ Day. There will be a special kickoff welcome for students before school, with treats being passed out.
Special Homecoming Week library activities are planned…a Golden Hour Photo Contest.
One other activity is planned, as Student Council members will be going to other schools to chalk sidewalks during 2nd Hour.
Special activities are planned each day, including coronation of the Homecoming Queen and King at halftime of the Hearts football game Friday night and the Homecoming Dance on Saturday night.
